the swelling in my feet has reduced!

I came to Masayo’s clinic to improve my chronic shoulder and back stiffness and my circulation problems. Since Masayo spent enough time on consultation and explained the details of the procedure, including the acupuncture points, I was at ease receiving her treatment. After the treatment, I immediately noticed my body felt comfortable and warm inside, and the swelling in my feet went down. When I put on my shoes right after the session, I was surprised to find that they had become too big for my feet! That night I slept like a baby. Next time, I would like to try “cosmetic” acupuncture with her.

My persistent back pain suddenly disappeared

I decided to try acupuncture for the first time for chronic back pain. I’ve tried EVERYTHING – including massage – but nothing worked. Dr. Nishimura offered me comprehensive, whole-body care, not just acupuncture.

After a year of trying to conceive without success, I found Dr. Nishimura. She provides thorough consultations at every visit and performs acupuncture while carefully assessing my condition. She also uses moxibustion to improve blood circulation, and the gentle heat always feels comforting and relaxing. After each treatment, I could feel my body warm up, and my muscles relax. By the third session, I noticed that my basal body temperature had risen, which reassured me that the treatment was helping my body prepare for pregnancy.

She also guided me on nutrition, stretching, and improving circulation. Following her advice daily, my constipation improved, and I now have bowel movements about five times a week. I began nightly foot baths, which helped me sleep more comfortably and deeply. She offered comprehensive, whole-body care, not just acupuncture. I have tried a variety of acupuncture treatments at many places before, but I haven’t really noticed the effect. This time was very different. Right after I received Masayo's acupuncture treatment, my long-term shoulder and back pain disappeared as if I had put my heavy luggage down on the ground. A few days later and I still feel lightness in my shoulder and my whole body.

The facial acupuncture treatment was amazing! Immediately after the session, I could tell that my sagging cheeks were lifted and shapely. My tired eyelids are so refreshed, so my eyes look much bigger. The pores on my face became less noticeable, and my whole face toned up. My skin is glowing and feels so much smoother. So far I have tried esthetic massages and laser facial treatments, but for me, facial acupuncture worked the best and had the most immediate effect.

Highly recommend

I was referred to Masayo by a friend for my menopause, night sweat, shoulder and neck pain. Being very sensitive person, at first I was afraid of needle insertion. But she used the Japanese technique which was very gentle and surprisingly painless. I still hate needles, but somehow Masayo’s technique was so natural and comforting that I forget all about them. I was struggling with tooth pain on my right side. My dentist and other heath professionals couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Masayo Nishimura came highly recommended for her expertise in acupuncture, cranial sacral work and massage therapy. She is noted for her gentle and inept approach to one's healing. She spoke with me a lot about the pain and also what is going on in my life. She then used a gentle Japanese style of acupuncture along with cranial work and massage, and my tooth pain subsided within two sessions.
