cosmetic facial acupuncture

What is facial acupuncture? How does it work?

Facial acupuncture, also known as “cosmetic acupuncture,” helps stimulate collagen production in the face, improve skin quality, and rejuvenate the skin by enhancing overall energy. During a treatment, tiny needles are placed in acupuncture points on the face. It works by causing tiny micro-trauma to the skin, which signals the body to produce collagen, elastin, and improved micro-circulation to the face, promoting healing, repair, and a radiant glow. In addition to the points on the face, we'll also work on body points to balance and boost the skin from the inside out.

Facial acupuncture reduces the surface effects of aging by triggering a self-repair response in the skin, as well as by addressing the internal imbalances that contribute to the aging process. This ancient beauty secret is a non-invasive, toxin-free, and natural approach to reduce the signs of aging and help skin regain its youthful glow. The most common side effect of facial acupuncture, or any type of acupuncture, is bruising. However, any bruising often heals quite quickly.

Is there anyone who can't have facial acupuncture?
If you are pregnant, have received Botox recently, or if you get migraines/chronic headaches, then it's not the right time. People with bleeding disorders, high blood pressure, hepatitis, uncontrolled type 2 diabetes, or cancer patients shouldn’t seek this treatment.

Facial Rejuvenation cupping is entirely painless and does not irritate the skin; it can be used on sensitive skin, including areas affected by rosacea and melasma. Facial Gua Sha is a technique that utilizes specially crafted, smooth jade pieces to invigorate the skin, smooth out wrinkles, and enhance blood flow.
