“After each session, I felt my body more relaxed and energetic. I was impressed by the fact that Masayo could detect the imbalance of my organs simply by touching several points on my body. I am thankful for her strength and knowledge. - Y.K (Issue - Fatigue & Anxiety)

Welcome!
If you’re looking for gentle, soft-touch Japanese Acupuncture, highly skilled CranioSacral Therapy, or Massage Therapy in NYC, you’ve come to the right place. Gentle Japanese Acupuncture founder, Masayo Nishimura, is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York, a NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) certified diplomate in Oriental Medicine, and board-certified Herbalist. She is also a NY state licensed massage therapist, CranioSacral therapist, and Shiatsu massage practitioner. She has been serving in the healing world for over 20 years.
Masayo, a Japanese native, uses Japanese-style Acupuncture, in which the needles are very thin and inserted superficially; in some instances, they are not inserted at all (by using a non-insertive needle). This gentle needling technique is great for highly sensitive people as well as small children. She focuses on providing effective, pain-free treatments for various conditions, ensuring a comfortable experience for all clients.
Her practice incorporates Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Swedish massage, Craniosacral Therapy, cupping, Gua Sha, and Traditional herbal medicine. She customizes her work to meet each client’s needs, helping them achieve holistic balance.
